We directed the first few episodes of “The Victor Magro Show”, a web series in the spirit of Nigel Godrich’s “In The Basement”, that gives promising young bands a chance to record a live set with top-shelf facilities. The first episode, featuring Caveman, will launch in the fall.

Our video for The New Jerk Times’ new single “I’m Shaking” premiered today! ”I’m Shaking” was shot on Super 8 film one long night in a dank deli basement and along the back roads of Ewing, NJ. The footage was then pieced together by hand. It’s the first collaboration between The New Jerk Times and Peking. Watch it!

Working with Ogilvy & Mather, we created 2 buttery hot doc style commercials for the restaurant chain. Really.
We created this spot for a limited edition tie dye shirt by NYC-based Proenza Schouler. We also made their F/W 2010 campaign video.
With Coolhunting.com, we traveled to Copenhagen to make a web video for Aiaiai’s latest headphone.

Working with NYC design agency BASE, Peking went into the Pantone factory for a sneak peek video about the new Pantone PLUS Series.

We just completed production of a web film with Saatchi & Saatchi for a Myspace/Toyota contest called Rock the Space.

We’re currently in production on a new documentary film about Motorcycle Safety for Pennsylvania’s Department of Transportation. Watch the trailer.

Our video for Extra Life’s “Headshrinker” premiered today. It’s got a vibe, that’s for sure.

Peking traveled to Tokyo to make a web film covering Nike’s new flagship store in Harajuku. Watch it here.

We are currently in post-production on our short film THE KOOK, a thriller with sci-fi elements that centers around Fa, a member of a cult who discovers that their leader is a con man on the night before he plans to lead them all in a mass suicide. She sets out to find him and stop him in order to save her friends and family from wrongfully killing themselves.

We traveled to New Hampshire to shoot segway inventor Dean Kamen for The Discovery Channel’s “I Love The Whole World” campaign.

Peking traveled to Stockholm with Coolhunting.com this week to produce a video celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Absolut Vodka’s Art Collection.

Peking traveled to the Welsh countryside of Pembrokeshire this week to make several mini-documentaries on a gaggle of metal detectionists who’ve gathered together to solve a few local mysteries. Watch Ted & Jenny here.
Our video for Glass Ghost’s Like A Diamond premiered today on The Village Voice.

Tunnelvision is being projected at the opening for “The Open”, September 10th at 9pm at Deitch Projects. It will accompany a set by Here We Go Magic.

Two of our commercials were honored at the 2009 AICP Show held at the MOMA on June 9th. The spots, Champs and Lost, were chosen as honorees in the Student Category and will be inducted into MOMA’s permanent collection.

Peking heads to Sao Paulo with Coolhunting.com to create several web videos including Sao Paulo Fashion Week Summer 2010, Bande de Role’s upcoming new album, Grafica Fidalga - a 90-year old printing press, and Pixacao - a Brazilian-born art form similar to graffiti.

Kodak hosted a ceremony in New York City on June 8th for achievement in student work in the commercial field. Peking was honored with Kodak Vision Awards for two of our spots. The event was covered in Shoot.

Two of our spots, Balloons and Wake-up, received Gold and Silver Addys, respectively, at the 2009 Student Addy Awards.

We just picture locked on Roger & Sheryl, which is currently being scored and prepared for a festival run.

We are collaborating with The Open Ended Group and legendary composer Maryanne Amacher on a 3D installation which will premiere in early 2010 at The EMPAC Performing Arts Center.
